What does the Harvest Support Network do?

HSN's main goal is to support non-profits with efforts to obtain and manage food donations to feed the hungry, so that they can direct more of their limited resources toward their main goals. We also provide information and resources for others involved in food rescue operations. This includes restaurants and food service businesses wishing to donate surplus prepared food, and individuals and groups who want to volunteer to transport food donations from donors to non-profits.

As noted in the video at left, there are many restaurants and food service businesses with surplus food to donate, and plenty of non-profits who could use that food to feed the hungry. What's often missing is someone willing to transport the food donations from donors to non-profits. That's where YOU can help!
